Entre-deux-Mers AOC
A
This is the second largest appellation in terms of hectares, though much smaller than Bordeaux AOC, producing only white wines. (Red wine is produced within the appellation area but is bottled as Bordeaux or Bordeaux Supérieur.)
The maximum yield is 65 hL/ha resulting in some wines of light flavour intensity.
The wines are typically acceptable to good in quality and inexpensive to mid-priced.
