A
into occupancy above fire to prevent extension…can feed sprinkler, if staffing and conditions permit

A
- assist 1st engine
- supply sprinkler, it able to
- stretch second line, if able to
2nd line used:
- control 1st floor, if 1st line advanced down cellar via interior
- backup/protect 1st line
- if 1st line controlled 1st floor-stretch to cellar via interior or exterior entrance
- cellar pipes/distributors

A
- ENSURE Sprinkler is supplied (fire anywhere in TaxPayer)
- stretch 2nd line

Store/Cockloft…?
A
- break store front windows for line advancement and LEAVE EXIT DOORS FREE FOR PEOPLE TO USE
- operate hoselines directly into ROOF OPENINGS…not a good practice but may be only way to hit fire and control it…all operations MUST CEASE AND PERSONNEL WITHDRAWN TO SAFE AREA

first line into store….may supply sprinkler, if able to do so

- may supply sprinkler, if able to do so
- 2nd line- if able to do so

- stretch as ordered by IC

A
- fire has control of cockloft and need for exposure protection-POSITION AND UTILIZE DECKPIPE
- stretch a line into most severely exposed building/occupancy…depending on life hazard and severity of fire
exposure protection NOT CRITICAL: 1ST LINE into store under main body of fire

- fire has control of cockloft…ASSIST 1ST ENGINE
- when able to, stretch a line to ANOTHER EXPOSURE
(DOES NOT MENTION SUPPLYING SPRINKLER)
