TAKEOFF SHOULD BE ABORTED

  1. Brakes –AS REQUIRED
  2. Throttles – IDLE
  3. Speed Brakes - EXTEND
  4. Thrust Reverser - DEPLOY ON UNAFFECTED ENGINE

A

TAKEOFF SHOULD NORMALLY BE CONTINUED

  1. Rotate - VR
  2. Landing Gear - Up (after positive rate of climb)
  3. Climb - V2 until 1500 feet AGL

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

A
  1. Throttles – BOTH OFF
  2. LH/RH Engine Fire Switches – BOTH PRESS
  3. LH/RH Fire Bottle Armed Switches – Both PRESS(if fire suspected)

(Parking Brake – SET Advise ATC)

  1. Battery Switch – OFF
  2. Airplane and Immedite Area - Check for Best Escape Route.

If Thru Cabin Door

  1. Cabin Door - Open
  2. Move away from airplane.

If Thru Escape Hatch

  1. Escape Hatch - Remove and Throw Hatch Out of Airplane.
  2. Move away from airplane.

  1. Engine Fire Switch - LIFT COVER/PUSH
  2. Either Illuminated Bottle Armed Light - PUSH

SPEED BELOW V1:

  • Takeoff Should Be Aborted
    1. Brakes – As Required

    3. Speedbrakes – Extend
    4. Thrust Reversers – DEPLOY BOTH

THRUST REVERSER INADVERTENT DEPLOYMENT DURING TAKEOFF

SPEED ABOVE V1:

A
  • Takeoff Should Normally be Continued.
    1. EMER STOW Switch - EMER (affected engine)
    2. After establishing a positive rate of climb, Landing Gear – RETRACT

Do Not Exceed 125 KIAS MAXIMUM UNTIL T/R STOWS

  1. 400 feet, Flaps – RETRACT at V2 +10 and accelerate.

Do Not Exceed 200 KIAS after T/R stows.

  1. Throttle ( affected engine) - Normal Operation

THRUST REVERSER INADVERTENT INFLIGHT DEPLOYMENT

  1. Control Wheel/Autopilot - GRIP/ DISENGAGE
  2. Emergency STOW Switch – EMER (affected engine)
  3. Affected Throttle (affected engine) - CHECK IDLE
  4. Airspeed - REDUCE TO 125 KIAS OR BELOW UNTIL REVERSER STOWS, Do Not Exceed 200 KIAS.

  2. Thrust Reverser Levers – CHECK T/R Levers at STOWED (Full Forward) Position
