Q

What would please the Catholics from the Religious Settlement?

A
  • They could still believe in the transubstantiation - the Book of Common Prayer’s wording was deliberately unclear so the Catholics and Protestants can interpret what goes on with the bread and wine themselves.
  • Images were allowed in churches
  • Priests must wear special clothing
