- Gets into B.Stream and past BBB and acts on noradrenergic receptors in the brain
- Binds to uptake 1 protein and taken into nerve terminal (uptake 1 protein normally inactivates NA)
- Binds to vesicles in nerve terminal and causes big NA release. Second time you take it has less of an effect bc isnt as big a store of NA able to be released.
