What is the difference between Drug-induced Lupus and SLE?
A
Drug-induced lupus you get the Skin, MSK and Lung involvement.
But rarely get the nervous system and renal system involvement like you would in SLE.

What are some features of Drug-induced lupus?
A
- Arthralgia
- Myalgia
- Skin (e.g. malar rash) and pulmonary involvement (e.g. pleurisy) are common

What autoantibody tests can you do to check for drug-induced lupus?
A
- ANA positive in 100%, dsDNA negative
- anti-histone antibodies are found in 80-90%

- Procainamide
