Q

How does normal distribution occur?

A

Q

What is a negative skew?

A

When the mean is a lower value than the mode and the mode is a lower value than the median (mean -> mode -> median)
This is illustrated by a longer tail to the left.

Q

What is a positive skew?

A

When the mean is a higher value than the median and the median is a higher value than the mode.
(mode -> median -> mean)
It is illustrated by a longer tail to the right.
