What is the effect of temp on enzymes:
Cold—> work slowly-less particle collisions
Hot—> if they get heated there are more particle collisions therefore they work faster, BUT if they get heated over a certain temp they denature and change shape
What does bile do:
Bile breaks down lipase from a large insoluble molecule to small soluble molecules with a large surface area so it can be digested quickly
How is villus adapted to do its job well
1) have microvilli- creates a big surface area
2) many capillaries- absorbing digested food
3) thin- short distance for food to absorb through
