Is wood Sustainable and why?

A

Timber is Sustainable when harvested responsibly. If you cut a tree down and then regenerate it by planting it back.

Who is the FSC?

A

The Forest Stewardship Council. There role is to sustainably get wood from a forest, by splitting the forest into sections cut some trees down and then leave that plot to grow back to sustainable point. Then repeat the process.

A
