Amenorrhoea > 2 years < 50
Amenorrhoea 1 year >59

When should COCP be stopped?
A
Once 50 then non hormonal or progesterone only

When should Dep-provera be stopped?
A
Continue to 50
Switch to either IUD and stop after 2 years amenorrhoea or switch to POP

When should implant/POP/IUS be stopped?
A
Continue regardless of age
If amenorrhoeic check FSH and stop after 1 year if FSH >30 or stop at 55
If ongoing periods- further investigation warranted
