What are the objectives of the constitution?
To uphold the ideals of the country, to bridge the gap between majority and minority, to define the nature of a country’s political system and to promote public agenda over personal agenda.
What is a polity?
A polity is a country with an organised political structure, for example, India is a democratic polity.
What is majority tyranny?
Majority tyranny is when a majority overtakes a minority, there are two types of tyranny, Inter Community domination and Intra community domination.
Creation of the constitution
The constituent assembly met for 3 periodic years after 1946 to create the constitution.

Secular Farmers Fund Parliaments Separately.
Secularism, Federalism, Fundamental Rights, Parliamentary Form of Government, Separation of Powers.
Secularism
Religious tolerance, separating religion from the state, religious diversity.
Fundamental Rights
Conscience of the constitution, against arbitrary and absolute exercise of power by the state
Directive Principles Of State Policy
To reduce poverty by enforcing laws and socioeconomic reforms.
Federalism
Existence of more than 1 level of government, handling population, needs of each state.
Parliamentary Form of Government
Universal Adult Suffrage - Voting rights
Separation of powers
Legislative, executive, judiciary. Balance power and avoid misuse of it.
