In spite of
Link two contrasting ideas.Fallowed by a noun phrase. Example: he arrived con time un spite of getting late.
Although
Link two contrasting ideas. Followed by a sentence. Example: Although the fact that the pupils had not studied, they all passed their exams.
However
Introduce a new idea which marks a contrast with previously stated ideas. Introduced by a comma. Example: he was quiet ill however, he went yo schoo.
Whereas
Link two contrasting ideas. Not separated by commas.Example: This film is very interesting, whereas that one is quite boring.
Because
Introduce a subordinate sentence. Example: Because it’s late, we should go home.
In order to
Introduce an infinitive of purpose. Example: She uses her video in order to record TV programmes.
So
Introduce a sentence. No commas. Example: Dont walk so fast.
Moreover
Use after a strong pause ando separated from sentences.Example: the car looked good; moreover, the price was right.
As well as
Used to add one more piece of information.Example: the gorilla as well as the orangutan are primates.
For example
Introduced an example referring yo previously stated ideas.
Such as
Introduces an example referring to the last ideas. Example: I am a good dancer such ass micke.
But
Followed by a noun phrase por a sentences.Example: I am stressed but I know how to relax.
After all
Considering all the factors in the situation. Example: I dont think he should be punished for breaking the window.
By the way
Used to introduce an additional point that hasta justo thought of. Example: Some people, and by the way that includes Robert, just won’t look after themselves properly.
Above all
More than anything else. Example: He misses all of us, but he longs above all to see his family again.
