Its similar to HDMI but only has 1 chamfer instead of 2.

A video connection. Most commonly digital but it can be analog
DVI-A = analog
DVI-D = digital
DVI-I = interlace

Sony/Phillips Digital Interface. A square connection for optical audio. This is a digital signal instead of analog.
