Mail-order firms produce catalogues and customers order from these. The businesses do not have physical retail outlets.
Telesales
This is where the businesses sell their products over the telephone. They may telephone the people hoping to convince them to buy their product or to simply take orders over the phone rather than having a shop.
Online selling
Many businesses now sell a range of producers products online. They do not necessarily have a physical shoo where people can go.
Wholesalers
Wholesalers and retailers are intermediaries in the distribution channel. They are organisations that provide a service and help to get the products from the producer to the customer.
