What is a conjuction?
it is a word/words that links words, phrases, or clauses in sentences
What is a coordinating conjunction?
It is a group of conjunctions namely: for, and, nor, but, or, yet and so (otherwise known as the f.a.n.b.o.y.s.)
What is a subordinating conjunction?
It is a group of conjunctions that are not part of the f.a.n.b.o.y.s. namely: although, after, while, when, unless, until, etc. (otherwise known as “a. w.h.i.t.e.b.u.s.”)
What is a correlative conjunction?
It is a group of conjunctions that work in pairs. For example- both+and, whether+or, either+or, neither+nor, not+but, not only+but also.
what is the most common coordinating conjunctions?
