the Home front was the place were civilians had to make economical and social sacrifices for the war effort.
How did the Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander servicemen serve in WWII?
Aboriginal and Torres islander people served mainly as soldiers fighting against the Japanese empire and taught Australian soldiers how to fight in the out back or ‘bush’ of Australia.
What happened at the end of WWII?
The Allies won the war in europe against Nazi germany after invading Berlin and the suicide of Hitler.
The Allies began the Island hopping campaign capturing Japanese islands, Iwo Jima and Okinawa
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed by two atomic bombs.
What was Propaganda and how was it used?
it was used to communicate and persuade a domestic partake in the war effort, primarily at the home front.
What were Ghettos?
They were control and segregated sections of a city that held majority of Jews in that city.
What were concentration camps and the final solution?
concentration camps were facilities that held captive Jews until the final solution, which encompassed a nationwide industrialised excution of the Jews.
What were the Nuremberg Laws?
The Nuremberg Laws were anti semitic laws primarily identifying what it took to be a Jew.
