GH Joint / Shoulder Complex

A

 Referral from Cx

 Tendonitis of rotator cuff/biceps tendon
o supraspinatus tendinitis:­ results in painful arc
o infraspinatus tendinitis: ­ pain on resisted shoulder external rotation
o subscapularis tendinitis:­ pain on resisted shoulder internal rotation
o bicipital tendinitis: ­ pain on resisted elbow flexion

 Subacromial bursitis: pain and restriction of active shoulder abduction

 Sprained acromioclavicular joint: ­ pain and restriction of active shoulder abduction

 Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis): ­ prominent restriction of external rotation of
the shoulder joint; more than internal rotation or abduction
