Why do we have command and control?
To effectively control, command, lead and coordinate Police-led operations
(adhere to it, familiarise self with it, ensure staff understand)
Coordination
What is Command (vertically)?
What is Control (horizontally)?
Command - Internal ownership, admin responsibility and detailed direction of an agency’s personnel and resources.
Control - the resp for coordinating and directing the response to an incident. Sets priorities and objectives.
