A
- GI symptoms: indigestion, bloating, abdo pain, altered bowel habit
- rash - dermatitis herpetiformis, typically on abdomen, itchy, blistering
- signs of malabsorption: weight loss, fatigue, anaemia

coeliac disease investigations
A
- history and examination
- bloods: FBC, B12/folate deficieny
- coeliac antibodies: IgA tTG (>90% specific)
- biopsy > confirm diagnosis; destruction of villi; patients need to be on gluten diet for 6 weeks before biopsy

A
- intestinal lymphoma
- anaemia
- osteoporosis
