What are the basic components of a master work and how do these show up in the blueprint?
These are the four quadrants:
beginning, hook;
middle build part one;
middle build part two;
ending payoff.
In addition, there are the five Commandments: inciting incident; progressive complication, turning point; crisis; climax; and resolution.
Each of the five Commandments must be honored in the four parts. This gives us 20 core units.
The four quadrants and the five Commandments generate the 20 columns of the blueprint.

Describe the role or function of core need in the story arc
It can be viewed as the spinal cord of the story. It’s obscured by more superficial wants. It’s a fundamental truth about avatar motivation, and which key avatars are typically in denial about. Because Courtney needs our universal, the protagonist success in fulfilling his or her creates a catharsis for the reader
What is the CoreLife value in the four core framework?
Every story involves core values that are specific to that story. Moreover, every story has a yardstick that measures where the avatars actions are along the spectrum of these life values.
Example: life to death ; injustice to justice
Identify a significance of a CoreLife value to the arc of the story. 
The core value describes the primary or global change from the beginning to the end of the story. Like Courtney needs, core values or universal and the contribute to your stories controlling idea.

Explain Core Need as it relates to the four core framework, and genre
Core emotions or universal and contribute to the stories, controlling idea. They are essential for the reader to fill something when reading the story, to become fully immersed in it, and find it compelling.
Core emotions include the following.
- Excitement.
- Fear.
- Intrigue
- Romance.
- Triumph
- Admiration.
- Satisfaction
- Pity.
- Contempt.
