• Search engine to find 2 articles about mental health
• Read through articles
• Decided on initial codes about mental health (e.g. stigma, taboo) and if the codes were positive or negative to describe mental health to use as my final codes
• Read articles again and tallied how many times the codes appeared to get results
What are the results of your clinical practical?
• The Sunday Times represented mental health more positively than The Guardian
• ‘taboo’ was used negatively 4 times in article 2
• ‘stigma’ was used negatively 2 times and positively 3 times
