Which quantities are constant and which ones change in circular motion?
A
Speed and angular velocity are constant in circular motion while velocity changes.

Why is speed constant?
A
Centripetal force and velocity are at right angles to each other. Force has 0 component (Fcos90=0) in the direction of velocity, so speed remain same.
OR
Woek done by tge firce is zero as distance moved by the object in the direction of force is 0.No work is done, so kinetic energy remains same and hence speed is unchanged.
