  1. Maintain the aircraft in the circling area.
  2. Maintain the circling visibility.
  3. Maintains visual reference with the landing runway environment.
  4. By day only maintains visual contact with obstacles and clearance required for the aircraft category until its aligned with the runway.
  5. By night or day from a position on the downwind base or final leg can conduct a continuous descent to the landing threshold using manoeuvres which are normal for the aircraft type and maintains obstacle clearance required for the aircraft category until it’s aligned with the runway.

Within 30 nautical miles not below the LSALT/MSA and established clear of cloud, in sight of ground or water, 5km visibility, and able to maintain all until within the circling area at a height not less then the VFR minimums.

A

Clear of cloud, in sight of ground or water, 5kms visibility, within the circling area, within 5 nautical miles established on centreline and on approach lights, within 7 nautical miles for a runway equipped with an ILS establish d on centreline and on approach lights, within 10 nautical miles if established on the ILS at not less than full scale deflection or within 14 nautical miles established on the ILS at Sydney runway 16L and 34L
