And Yaakov went out from Be’er Sheva ויצא יעקב
Torah doesn’t say “And Yaakov went to Charan”l It mentions his departure because when a Tzaddik leaves a place, it makes an impression. A Tzaddik brings splendour, glory and beauty to a city. when he leaves he takes that with him
Because the sun set כי בא השמש
The sun set early. Hashem wanted Yaakov to sleep in “the place”
Yaakov’s dream
Yaakov saw a ladder סולם standing on the ground, top of the ladder was in the sky (Heaven) and there were angels going up and down. Hashem was on top of the ladder - he was guarding and talking to Yaakov
Meeting between Yaakov and Rachel
while Yaakov was speaking to the shepherds, Rachel came with her father’s sheep. When Yaakov saw her, he rolled the stone from the well and watered the Lavan’s flock. he kissed Rachel, he cried and told Rachel that he was Rivka’s son from Eretz Canaan. Rachel ran and told her father
And he wept ויבך
Yaakov saw through Divine Inspiration that he wouldn’t be buried with Rachel and he came empty handed.
