He got to see how the poor were convicted and treated under the justice system. His insight into poverty shaped his opinion about how the poor were mistreated and formed the basics of mich of his writting

They were interested in the supernatural although dickens had little tome for it and didnt believe im ghosts

A lot of workers moved to the city too meet demands for goods. While some people grew rich many people lived in rough conditions in the cities and often struggled
What were working conditions like for the poor?
Adults and children that were poor often had to work long hours to provide. Dickens shows is these difficulties of working conditions and being poor theough bob xratchit

The goal of individuals and society should be the greatest and happiest for the most people.
What did Dickens say about a christmas carol?
To raise the ghostly idea, which shall not put my readers out of humour with themselves, with each other,with the season, or with me. May it haunt there houses pleasantly.
Why has dickens structured the story how he has?
At the start- everything g is memorable and a light realisation for scrooge which could be how dickens feels rich people are.
Throughout- it gets dark and is a big realisation for scrooge to wake people up. In a way to scare society.

What dies the name Ebenezer mean?
It comes from the bible.
Ebenezer means stone of help which makeked a spot where the enemy had been routed and gods promise to bless his repentant people had been honoured. Thelord had helped them all the way to Ebenezer.
