Omnipotent
All-powerful - usually in context of God.
Omnibenevolent
All-loving, the idea that God loves everyone.
Just
The idea that God is fair in his judgements of people.
Trinity
The Christian belief that God is one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Spirit
The Holy Spirit
Word (of God)
Jesus, or sometimes the Bible, because he is God’s ultimate message to humanity.
Incarnation
Becoming flesh, as Jesus when he was born.
Crucifixion
Refers to Jesus’ death on the cross.
Resurrection
Refers to the belief that Jesus rose from the dead three days after his crucifixion. He then made a series of appearances on Earth.
Ascension
Refers to the belief that Jesus finally rose to heaven 40 days after his resurrection.
Law
The Old Testament Law / Law of Moses. 613 Commandments in the Torah.
Sin
Wrong actions. Any act that goes against God. For Jews, this was described in The Law.
Original Sin
Traditional idea that the first sin of Adam and Eve corrupted all of humanity.
Salvation
Being saved, of a person from sin, and going to heaven.
Grace
Freely given forgiveness. God gives it to people when he forgives sins.
