Omnipotence
The quality of having unlimited or very great power, for example God is almighty and all-powerful.
Omnibenevolence
All-loving of infinitely good, for example God is all loving.
Trinity
God the father, the son and the holy spirit. They are the 3 roles of God.
Incarnation
Refers to the act of a pre-existing divine being, the son of God, in becoming human being, Jesus.
Atonement
The belief that Jesus’ death on the cross healed the rift between humans and God, as he died for our sins.
Divine Command
A theory of ethics, for example what is right in God’s eyes and is commanded by him.
Agape
Highest form of love, to God.
Inter-faith dialogue
Exploring common grounds within religion, for example Hindus and Christians sharing their beliefs.
Omniscience
Mainly in religion, is the capacity to know everything, for example God is all-knowing.
Holy Spirit
The third person in the Holy Trinity.
Ressurection
The concept of a living being, coming back to life after death, for example Jesus came back to live on Easter Sunday, conquering death.
Messiah
The Anointed one as king to rule over the world.
Omnipresent
The idea that God is everywhere throughout time.
Sustainer
God’s role in continuing to provide for and support the existence of the things he has created.
Transcendent
Above and beyond anything in the physical universe.
