Chapter 4 Flashcards
38 isosceles triangle theorem
if 2 sides of triangle are congruent, then the angles opposite those sides are congruent
39 converse of the isosceles triangle theorem
if 2 angles of triangle are congruent, then the sides opposite to those angles are congruent
40 coincidence theorem
altitude, median, angle bisector, perpendicular bisectors are all the same in isoscles triangles
40 theorem 4-2 if a line or a line segment bisects the vertex
if a line or a line segment bisects the vertex of an isosceles triangle, then it is also a perpendicular bisector of the opposite side
41 SAS 4-3
if 2 sides and included angle of one triangle congruent to 2 sides and included angle of another triangle, then Teo triangles are congruent
42 CPCTC (corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent)
if 2 triangles are congruent, then each pair of corresponding sides and angles are congruent.
43 SSS Theorem
if 3 sides of triangle congruent to 3 sides of another triangle, then the 2 triangles are congruent
44 ASA 4-4 Criterion
if 2 angles of one triangle and included side congruent to 2 angles and included side of another triangle, then the 2 triangles are congruent
45 AAS 4-4
if 22 angles and no included side of triangle congruent to 2 angles and no included side of another triangle, then the 2 triangles are congruent
