The old system was repetitive - this made it good for an autonomous overhaul.

I first set up a meeting to discuss the old system.
Identified problem areas where I could add most value - reducing human error.

Asked my team to trial the new system and provide comments on how it compared to the previous version.
Was asking your team to trial the system useful?
Yes - it provided feedback from intended user base and gathered dummy data.
Also acted as a live test for the working group to feel better about things.
How did you make the system good to use?
Streamline inputs,
Notifying recipients even if they didn’t get a reward with the nomination reason.
What was the result of this work?
My system was implemented across ESNM.
Bonus nominations increased and was estimated to save over £100,000 in man hours per-quarter.
