Distribution that requires one or more intermediaries
Indirect Distribution
A form of distribution achieved by screening dealers to eliminate all but a few in any single area.
Selective Distribution
Giving a limited number of dealers the exclusive right to distribute the company’s products in their territories.
Exclusive Distribution
The process of stocking the product in as many outlets as possible.
Intensive Distribution
A distribution system in which manufacturers act as wholesaler and retailer for their own products.
Integrated Distribution
Occurs when the producer sells goods or services directly to the customer with no intermediaries.
