No. The esu emt remain in control and if no assistance is needed the officer transmits a 10-91 and goes 10-8. Ch 2. 4.13

While working on a patient a family member presents a health care proxy or a living will: what should u advise the members of your company to do?
Keep working on the patient. Neither is valid in a prehospital emergency care. Ch 2/ 6.4.2
A DNR is an order which gives an individual the right to decline any or all life saving measures to be implemented to sustain life when all respiratory or cardiac activity ceases. Can a unit give a patient air while they wait for ems if they have been presented with a DNR?
Yes. A DNR is only an order to not perform cardio - pulmonary resuscitation( eg chest compressions and artificial ventilation for a patient in cardiac arrest) it is not a reason to withhold other treatments. Ch2 6.2.1
