Biconcave shape this means they have an increased surface area to voulme ratio
No nucleus so more room for haemoglobin to bind with oxygen
contains haemoglobin so binds to oxygen
What s the purpose of white blood cells
protects the boy from invading pathogens
How are white blood cells adpated
have a nucleus - contains DNA whih codes for proteins
can produce antibodies and antitoxins
can engulf and digest pathogens
