All computer’s are linked to
another computer, all computers act as a server.
peer to peer architecture
a central computer functions as
a hub, all shared data is stored on the server machine which is shared
with the client if the client makes o request.
CLLINT SERVER ARCHTECTURE.
powered by one central computer that communicates with all other computers.
THE STAR NETWORK
continuous loop with all computers attached.
THE RING NETWORK
most common configuration, central data cable is used to connect each computer (can be printers and router)
THE BUS NETWORK
Links computers withn an indivdual range
PERSONAL AREA NETWORK (PAN)
there are two types of PAN
wireless and cable
inside the same office or building, relotively close together
LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN)
