Primary, Secondary, Tertiary

What is the primary sector?
A
It is the gathering and selling of raw materials, e.g. metals, rice.
A business is only primary IF the form of the material does not change

What is the secondary sector?
A
Its is the processing of raw materials into products which are then sold.
The key factor of secondary businesses is how they CHANGE THE FORM of the product from it’s original form (eg chopping and canning tuna to sell)

What is the tertiary sector?
A
It is when you give a service to customers or organisations
