Money that may be needed to pay unforseen work or materials necessary to complete construction work
Construction Contingencies
Money allocated by owner to possible fund additional
Owner Contingencies
Money that may be needed to pay for significant increase in construction cost particularly cost of materials
Escalation
A shelter from the sun, wind, and rain. Providing shelter that implies a roof, and walls to support it. Must be habitable
Building
Soil where the building is constructed
Natural Gradeline
Any habitable structure on top of the natural grade line
Superstructure
Anything habitable under the natural grade line
Sub-structure
Under natural grade line and is not habitable
Foundation
Building systems that makes up a building
