A- APU Bleed PB ON
T- Transponder ON
C- Cockpit Door- Flight deck door closed and latched
First Officer After Start/Delayed Start
“Norm-Y-BIAST”
Norm- Eng Mode Selector-Norm
Y- Yellow HYD Electric Pump ON if S/E taxi
B- Bleed Panel- Set as required for taxi/2nd engine start
I- Ice-Engine Anti-Ice as required
A- APU MASTER SW- OFF when not needed
S- ECAM Status Page- Check STS
T- Verify Stab trim set if WDR available and/or start time for engine warm up.
First Officer Before Takeoff
“Lead, Bleed, Brakes, Config, Ignig, Squawk, Talk”
LEAD- make PA to Flight Attendants and receive acknowledgment.
BLEED- APU BLEED ON or packs off if required per WDR.
BRAKES- Autobrakes MAX & Brake Temp less than 275 degrees C
CONFIG- TO CONFIG pb
SQUAWK- Transponder TA/RA
TALK- Runway, Departure, First Fix, HAA, min fuel for TO and weight verified
PM After Takeoff
“3 in a row, Ice and a APU to go”
Flaps- Up Engine Mode Selector- NORM Spoilers- Disarm Anti-Ice- As Required APU BLEED pb/APU- As Required
First Officer After Landing
“5 in a row, Ice and APU to go”
Transponder- ON Flaps- UP ENG MODE selector- NORM Spoilers- Verify disarmed Radar- OFF Ice- WAI off, EAI as required APU- as required
Taxi In First Officer
“YKX” (after 3 minutes with CA concurrence)
Yellow ELEC PUMP- ON (for SE taxi)
Kill Engine- ENG 2 MASTER switch- OFF (for SE taxi)
X Bleed- Open (for SE taxi)
First Officer Shut Down Flow
“Yellow FBI ETE”
- Seat Belt Sign- OFF
- ENG 1 Master Switch- OFF
Yellow ELEC PUMP- OFF Fuel Pumps- OFF Beacon- OFF Ice- OFF Engines- confirm shut down via ECAM Transponder- STBY Ext PWR- ON if Avail
