What is the role of circulation in biochemical molecular movement?
A
The circulation provides a route for delivery of substances to all cells in the body and also acts as a waste removal system
The blood circulation provides a means of cellular communication

Why might concentrations in the blood stream or extra cellular fluid (ECF) increase?
A
- Cell damage releases intracellular contents into the ECF
- Cell damage can result in decreased function, so compounds that should have been removed/metabolised are not
