The rest of the contingent continued west towards Fort Whoop-Up.

A

Under the command of Sgt. Henry A. Larson, it was the first RCMP vessel to travel from Vancouver to Halifax through the Northwest Passage in 1944. First vessel to circumnavigate North America and did it twice via the Panama Canal in approximately 1943. It served as a floating detachment and supply vessel for northern detachments.
