Place gearshift control in idle positing.
Notify crew
Open engine bay and attempt to control RPM’s manually
Use engine ignition switch to secure engine
If engine fails to secure, pull kill switch

Question 2

Fire in engine compartment

Place engine in neutral 
Notify crew
Secure engine 
Close fuel cutoff valve at tank
Discharge fire extinguisher through fire port
Secure non essential breakers
Possible rig anchor
Coordinate with unit
