When you exercise extremely hard you puff and pant some time after you stop. Explain why this is the case

A

When you exercise hard (like sprinting) your body isn’t able to supply oxygen to your muscles quickly so they respire anaerobically.

After this your body has to “repay” the oxygen it didn’t get around quick enough so you breathe heavier to get more oxygen into your blood.
