Q

What is the order in an automatic control system?

A

1) Stimulus: Change in the environment

2) Receptor: Detects change.

3) Co-ordination centre: Receives and processes information from receptor cells.

4) Effector: This is either a gland or muscle, it carries out a response restoring the optimum levels.

5) Response: Either muscle contraction or gland secretion.
