Introduced qualified majority voting on most areas, however some areas such as defence remain unitary
Introduced the right to withdraw from the European Union
Article 50, which states that a country can exit under its own constitutional requirements, then must negotiate the relationship with the European Union and the process of which separation will occur,
There are 2 primary treaties that must therefore be ratified, the first treaty to determine the immediate relationship and the second one to determine it in the long term

A judgment from Europe which determined that a state within the exiting period of 2 years determined that they no longer wish to leave the European Union they may reverse the process under their own constitutional requirements.
