Q

What’s the positive effects of joint stability ?

A
  • Increased thickness of Articular cartlidge acts as shock absorber and this reduces friction
  • Increased strength of ligaments e.g 5y ligament at hip
  • Increased lubrication of joint, increased secretion of synovial fluid and this increases mobility.
  • Increased strength of surrounding muscles of jopints, e.g rectus femoris/knee.
