Q

Identify the tissues in that make up the ureter?

A
  • Mucosa: mucous membrane with transitional membrane
    Secretes goblet cells
-Intermediate coat: musclaris. Inner longitudinal and outer circular layers of smooth muscle fibres
  • Superficial coat: adventita - blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and nerves. Anchors ureters in place
