The nucleus:
Controls all the activities of the cell and is surrounded by the nuclear membrane which is needed to build new cells or organisms.
The cytoplasm:
Consists of a liquid gel where most of the chemical reactions happen
The cell membrane:
Controls what substances come in and out of the cell such as glucose. It also controls the movements of substances such as hormones
The mitochondria:
Where aerobic respiration happens, releasing energy for the cell
The ribosomes:
Where protein synthesis happens and makes proteins
Cell wall (plant) :
made from cellulose that strengthens the cell and gives it support
A permanent vacuole (plants) :
A place in the cytoplasm which is filled with cell sap and keeps the cell rigid to support the plant
Chloroplasts (plant):
they are found in the green parts of plants.they are green because of a substance called chlorophyll which absorb light to help a plant make food by photosynthesis.
