- Parainfluenza virus in about 85% of cases
- Occurs in children 6mon to 5 years
- Especially boys

A
- Rhinorrhea, sore throat, low grade fever, seal like barking cough,
- Resolves spontaneously, in healthy children
- If child is immunocomprimised, can be more dangerous
