The daughter of Capulet and Lady Capulet a beautiful girl who is 13 years old plays as a native child her lover is her worst enemy also known as Romeo her nurse ask like her mother.
Romeo
A young boy about 16 years old the son of Montague and Lady Montague he loves Juliet his friends or who he’s related to his Benvolio Mercutio and Friar Lawrence
Friar Lawrence
A friend of Romeo and Juliet a kind simpleminded person. holds the secrets behind Romeo and Juliet he also Is the one who sets the plan for Romeo and Juliet. he marries them too. also a Catholic. Expert in mystical potions and herbs.
Mercutio
A kinsman to the prince. Romeos close friend. Filled with the imagination. Helps Romeo finding his love.
The nurse
The woman who breast-fed Juliet when she was a baby and cared for her her entire life. Providing relief for Juliet when her stress was high. Help to Juliet with her decisions throughout her life and or the play
Peter
It Capulet servant who invites guests in the capulets feast and escorts the nurse to meet with Romeo he is also the nurses servant.
Tybalt
A Capulet, Juliet’s cousin on your mother’s side. Is aggressive and violent and quick to draw his sword
Lord Capulet
The leader of the Capulet family. Father of Juliet. Wants Juliet to marry Paris. Not the parent.
Balthasar
Romeo’s dedicated servant who brings Romeo the news of Juliet’s death unaware that her death is a fake.
Lady Capulet
Juliet’s mother. A woman who herself married young. Wants her daughter should be married young too. Gave birth to Juliet at the age of 14. Wants Juliet to marry Paris.
Lord Montague
Romes’s father. He is concerned about Romeo’s decisions.
Lady Montague
Romeo’s mother. She dies of grief after Romeo is banned from Verona.
Prince Escalus
The prince of Verona. Kinsmen of Mercutio and Paris. Has highly political power in Verona. Is concerned about maintaining the public peace at all costs.
Apothecary
In apothecary in Mantua. His morals more than money. Refused to give poison to Romeo.
Friar John
A Franciscan friar who was supposed to bring news of Juliet’s fake death to Romeo. But never does reach Romeo.
Benvolio
Montague’s nephew, Romeos cousin and thoughtful friend. He makes a effort to diffuse violent scenes in public places, though Mercutio accuses him of having a nasty temper in private. He spends most of his time trying to help Romeo get his mind off Rosaline even after Romeo has fallen in love with Juliet.
Paris
Hey Kinsman of the prince, and the suitor of Juliet’s most preferred by capulet. Once capulet had promised him he can marry Juliet, he behaves very presumptuous towards her acting as if they’re already married.
Dramatic irony
We know but the characters don’t. Making the book more interesting
Oxymoron
Words opposite from each other. Examples are cruel kindness or jumbo shrimp or big Josh.
Juxtaposition
In act or instance of places close together or side-by-side, especially for comparison or contrast. Like a oxymoron in a sentence.
Foil characters
Characters that bring out each other’s qualities. For example Paris and Romeo, Romeo would rather go to Juliet, Paris rather go to her parents.
Soliloquy
Person onstage talking to themselves.
Monologue
Talking to another character on the stage.
Aside
Talking to the crowd making it seem as the person or character on the stage can’t hear you but the crowd can.
Who died, how did they die?
Lady Montague dies of grief. Mercutio is killed by Tybalt. Tybalt is killed by Romeo. Paris is killed by Romeo. Romeo kills himself. Juliet kills herself.
Who died,when?
Lady Montague dies in act 5 scene 3.
Mercutio dies in act 3 scene 1.
Tybalt dies in act 3 scene 1.
Paris, romeo, and Juliet died in act 5 scene 3.
