Adductor tendinopathy
A
Adductors used in coronal plane eccentrically into abduction - cutting
Adductors used in sagittal plane - eccentric control to terminal extension, initiates hip flexion w/ prime hip flexors
AL is tendinous at the front
Symptoms
- Unilateral upper adductor pain
- Sudden onset related closely to altered loading
-sore during warmup, but good through game
Symptomatic w/ running/kicking/agility/situps/coughing/sneezing

Load management Strengthen hip flexors - TB hip flex Condition hip adductors Balance hip abd and adds MFR of add - consider in thomas test position
