What do the rhetorical questions show?
It shows Macbeth’s confusion and inner conflict and his mental conflict; this foreshadows the development of his insanity and his insecurity
What does this quote show? "A dagger of the mid, a false creation Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain? I see the yet, in form as palpable As this which I now draw."
It shows that Macbeth’s senses are confused and with these they’re guiding him to the action that lies in the back of his mind. This shows Macbeth’s true nature that is hidden behind all of his lies.
What unnatural imagery is there in this soliloquy?
“nature seems dead” “wicked dreams” “witchcraft” “wither’d murder” “ghost”
What juxtaposition is present in the extract?
Juxtaposition between the unnatural imagery like death hell and withcraft and “thou sure firm-set earth” which reflects the divine right of kings.
The quote, “Whiles I threat, he lives” shows that Macbeth realises that the longer he takes to face his conflict, the longer Duncan lives which makes his travel further away from his ambitions, this causes him to complete his decision to kill king Duncan. Juxtaposition is present between his final decision and the beginning of the soliloquy, where he was indecisive

These quotes reflect his inner conflict, which suggests that although he appears to be confident in his decision there’s still a spark of worry and guilt
