- Carditis (murmur)
- Polyarthritis / arthralgia
- Chorea
- Fever
- Erythema marginatum
- Subcutaneous nodules
- Raised ESR
- Preceding strep pyogenes infection

Treatment of acute rheumatic fever?
A
- IM benzathine penicillin
- Simple analgesia
- Bed rest until CRP normal

Secondary prophylaxis following acute rheumatic fever?
A
Monthly IM benzathine penicillin for at least 10 years or until age 21 (whichever longer)
